Dear All

The following is some of the Chat Abbreviation Listing I have found on the internet and thought it **might** be useful to some of us...

I have always thought hth is Franks's initial ... http://www.ttzai.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif until I saw lot of people having same 'initial' with Frank .. Razz (sorry Frank~~~)

also, I always got wondering what is the 'RTFM..' (saw this number of times on the forum...) and ONLY find it out 2day... (

So the following are some of the CHAT abbreviation that could be helpful to whoever encounter the confusing abb..

Regards
Andy

Please do not use the abbreviations on this list, as it makes posts unreadable.

Wow wow! hold it. I have been fighting to get rid of all IM speak! Don't encourage others to do so. A limited list is, indeed generally accepted but don't push it.

Again: don't go there. I refer to this thread and the sticky in the Newbie forum.

yes I totally agree with you (Frank and Maaher).. This is just some list that I encounter on the internet.. (not sure if I am encourging anyone by posting this here...)

I do agree srongly that on the the forum like this (international and technical) shold make use of proper english and not slam or abbreviation..

This was just meant for information puprose (ok.. I guess this is bad information)!

'generally accepted' as it is difficult to determine what is 'general'. for example, I only realise what is 'hth' and 'RTFM' stand for!

ps. Please, delete this thread if it is going to cause trouble.. (sorry~~~)

Best Regards
Andy
