Hello Experts,

I was wonderintg if I can use JDBC Thin Driver (I have oracle 8.1.7 client on my local machine) to access Oracle 10G database on a remote machine? I have a SQL Exception saying "SO Exception".

I was able to successfully use OCI (oracle 8.1.7) with oracle 10G, but wondering if thin works too.
