I'm trying to find a walkthrough for installing Oracle Developer 9i and the Repository (SCM)
There is absolutely NOTHING on the web - anywhere!
I'm using Windows XP Pro - there's plenty of walkthoughs for linux/unix - go figure
pls help

Install oracle database 9i first (easy)

Then install Developer 9i:
http://cisnet.baruch.cuny.edu/holowczak/oracle/install/9ids/

Then install the Software Configuration Manager:
(Formerly known as repository)
http://download-east.oracle.com/otn_hosted_doc/designer/doc_library/des9i_9022/CDOC72/rep_insgde/igrepos_9i.htm

Feel free to contact me privately if you have problems, I've found that most people on the net aren't interested in helping with repository problems

Zeena I've sent you a private email, if you didn't get it, email me privately at sawyeraj@iinet.net.au, the net is a bad place to try and get help with the repository installation, but with a lot of time and patience I found the necessary documentation.

If anyone is interested I can provide mostly automated script files for the manual repository install - they will need to be modified somewhat, but will give the general idea. Email me if you want them
