Hi,
I am using Oracle 8.0.6 on HP-UX Server.
We use Pro C routines for deleting entries from Database.
However, we're facing a strange situation wherein the same routine is able to delete a row in some cases, but, with exactly the same where clause conditions, it fails at other times giving ORA 001036.
calling ERR_FlushErrors
USST12***************************************************************
Function: dus_dl_usage; SQLCODE = -1036
Oracle_message : ORA-01036: illegal variable name/number
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
