if you have Pentium 4 you must:
1.copy the CD on your disk
(make a new folder i.e d:cd_ora)
2. rename any copied file with the name symcjit.dll
( make it .old)
3. run setup from the folder.

Hi there

Java Runtime Environment folder "bin" in your CD is corrupt. U copy the contents of the disk on to ur machine.

jre-1_1_8_010-windows-i586-i

Download the above file from net. This file is 5.22 MB file.

In the path written below delete the "bin" folder and inatall the jre file in win32 folder. jre file will create a new "bin" folder which is required for correct installation of Oracle.

stage/components/oracle.swd.jre/1.1.7.30/1/datafiles/ Expanded/jre/win32/bin
