Hi,
I installed clean Oracle 10g on windowsXP(2.4 Ghz CPU and 1GB Ram).Installation completed without any Errors.Oracle works fine for 1st time.
After the machine was shutdown and started nest day, it shows 90-100% CPU utilization and after 5-8 min system reboots automatically.

When i tried to check problem , i found that some perl.exe and java.exe taking to many CPU resources.

I changes oracle services startup type from automatic to manual.

Now system runs okay. Then i started Listener and oracle<SID> process. It was also okay.
But when i try to start console or SQL*Plus then 2 perl.exe process starts and consumes most CPU resource.

please give any solution/suggestion Embarassed .

Thanks in advance.
