Hello Guys,

Could you please let me know how can I do the following

tasks.........

1) Moving databases from Intel boxes (Win2K and Win2003 servers)

running Oracle 9i over to new HP Itanium boxes (HP UX 11230 or

higher) running Oracle 10g

Also please let me know some useful links to learn about this kind

of stuff. Where can I get good information about both the

operating systems?

Can I do the above thing using RMAN hot backup If so please let me

know.




How can anyone upgrade from Oracle 9 to 10 on Intel or HP boxes

Please help me by giving some links or material. Your help is

greatly appreciated.



What are raw devices in oracle. Please provide some good

information about this?
